Company History
Chances are, if you are reading this, you have built a therapy business based upon your clinical skill, your passion for your profession and your ability to quickly build meaningful relationships with your patients. Your entrepreneurial spirit got you started, and your grit and unmatched work ethic have gotten you this far. ACI Therapy Billing is here to help you add ‘business savvy’ to this list of talents with our billing experience.
We are a team of individuals who have dedicated our careers to the profession of therapy, and, just like you, we live and breathe this world, each and every day. While building ProEx Physical Therapy, we learned the importance of the business of healthcare. It wasn’t enough for us to provide great outcomes and a great experience for our customers; we also needed to get paid for the work through an efficient billing practice. ACI Therapy Billing was born out of that need.
Our goal is to help a therapy business and its clinics not just survive, but thrive in an uncertain healthcare marketplace. When you enter into a relationship with us, our promise is that we will treat your business no differently than our own. You will not get pushed to the bottom of the list; you will never feel as if we are just doing the bare minimum; and you will never feel like anything but our most important client. Your success is too important to you and the community you serve to feel like anything less than a VIP.
Our therapy practice billing expertise is now available to your business. So, take the first step: sign up for a free consultation today. Experience the differences that come from working with a company that puts you first and experiences the same successes and challenges that you feel each and every day as a physical therapy clinic or business owner.
Our Leadership Team
Cory Purchas
Founder
Cory has over 20 years of experience in the Medical Admin field. She began her career as a Front Desk Specialist and worked her way up through the ranks to eventually be Director of the billing company she worked for.
When she and Amanda Graves heard that business was for sale, they jumped on the opportunity to own the company they had worked so many years to help build.
Now a co-owner of ACI Therapy Billing, Cory enjoys working with both the clients and employees. Her goal is to create a company where the staff feel appreciated and valued. Happy employees are the foundation of a solid company that gives good results to its clients.
Amanda Graves
Founder
Amanda began her career in the healthcare field in 2009, when she enrolled in courses to become a Certified Professional Coder (CPC). Soon after, she was hired by a local physical therapy office after an internship with them in their billing department.
Over the years, she moved her way up to a Lead Biller, and then Supervisor. She has been hands on and responsible for each day to day billing function, including claims submission, payment posting, claims follow up, and patient statements.
The Revenue Cycle Management division of the company had evolved, and the superior services were opened to therapy practices across the United States. Amanda and Cory are now the proud owners of the business and are committed to delivering the best customer service experience and building strong relationships with our clients.
